Michael was an easygoing, helpful host, happy to share recommendations, and the staff made us feel welcome and looked after. We felt safe on the property throughout. We stayed in a double/twin room overlooking the pool, with a patio that was lovely for relaxing. The beds were comfortable, everything was spotless, the WiFi worked well, and the place had a warm, homely feel. We enjoyed it so much we'd gladly return. A note about booking: I reserved through Bookings and didn't have to pay a deposit. There was a card error on Bookings, which is normal. We settled up at the end of our stay, including the minibar, room service and breakfast.

Sea Point is still my favorite part of Cape Town to stay in, and Rosedene Lodge is the best place I've tried there. Michael and his team made my week much better with their advice and support. They'd sent me a survey about my interests and were ready to help when I arrived, with great suggestions for hiking, wine country, art and museums, and whale watching. They really went above and beyond.

I slept so well every night in the comfortable beds, and the room was cleaned daily. Towels were provided and spotless, and the minibar had an outstanding drinks selection. The pool area is beautiful, with flowers everywhere, and the service was great. Everyone on staff was kind and helpful, and I felt at home and safe. And the coffee, made with the most important ingredient, love. Thank you for that. I can't wait to come back, and I highly recommend the place.

We loved our January 2024 stay at Rosedene Lodge. From our spacious, clean room, we looked out over the garden and pool, which felt like a little oasis away from the city. The bed was comfortable, too. The central Sea Point location worked perfectly for us, near the beach and plenty of restaurants and bars. The staff were incredibly welcoming, and breakfast was great. We'll definitely be back!

This was such a peaceful place to unwind, with no party atmosphere at all. The sunny courtyard, pool, flowers, plants and trees made a beautiful little oasis, and the location is right in the heart of Sea Point. Michael and his team were unbelievably helpful and kind. I felt comfortable from beginning to end, more than I can remember at any other stay. I was so glad to find this lovely spot for the last stop on my trip. If you get the chance to book it, don't wait too long.
