The gardens are lovely, and the family room was great, with a kitchen, bathroom and small lounge. The bed was very comfortable and there were plenty of pillows. Everything was neat and clean except for one mug with a coffee mark on the outside, so I washed it myself. The kitchen was well stocked with tea, coffee, sugar, milk and water in the fridge. The milk was in an old All Gold tomato sauce bottle, which didn’t seal properly and smelled a bit sour around the bottle and rim. Aside from that, it was a great stay and I can recommend it. It’s an affordable option if you’re going to the US consulate for a visa appointment, with Reddam shopping complex a four-minute drive away and a restaurant within two minutes.

The breakfast was divine, and the accommodation itself was beautiful, with a lovely fragrance and so much care in the details. It felt warm and welcoming throughout. The staff greeted me so warmly when I arrived. The owner was especially caring and bubbly, and went out of their way to make arrangements for my husband and me at short notice so we’d be comfortable. Thanks for making our stay so memorable. I’ll recommend Rustic Manor to anyone looking for a peaceful, inviting place.

I’d happily come back to Rustic Manor. So much thought went into the room, from the well-designed shower and lovely bathrobe to the good-quality bed and electric blanket. The tea and coffee station had plenty in it, including milk, filter coffee and rusks. There was insect repellent, easy-to-reach plug points, and entertainment on the television too. Breakfast was served in an intimate setting, and there were lots of other thoughtful touches. I only wish I’d had time to sit by that lovely fireplace. Next time.
