The reception team was very friendly, and the neighbourhood felt safe. The location was okay too, with shops close by. Rooms were generally clean, the Wi-Fi was good, and there was hot water. Not bad.

For the price, it’s a decent roof over your head, as long as you don’t expect too much. The neighbourhood felt safe and shops were nearby. The room was clean, with hot water and good Wi-Fi, and the price was good. On the downside, there were no utensils, the ventilation was poor, and I saw cockroaches here and there. There was no DStv and no bathroom sink.

A real hidden gem in the heart of Goodwood cape Town. The layout is lovely, with a spot outside to sit under an umbrella, and the room was thoughtfully arranged with a fridge, basin, built-in stove and shower. Getting in and out was easy, with no waiting around. When I rang the bell, someone came straight away, and I was welcomed with a big smile by warm, friendly staff. I’d even recommend this lodge to my mother-in-law!

The staff were friendly and professional, and made me feel comfortable and at home. Everything was neat and very clean, up to a five-star standard. I have no complaints.
