The Blue Emerald

We had 11 adults and plenty of room, with a well stocked kitchen and dining area. The upstairs deck was a lovely spot to watch the sunset. Jared and the team cleaned every day, responded quickly when we had an issue, and helped arrange a fantastic chef for one evening. Gorgeous villa in a great location. Highly recommend!

The ocean view is beautiful, and the place felt extremely safe. We booked through Blue Emerald with friends for a week, and the accommodation was clean, spacious, and had a real homely feel. It met all our requirements, and the location made it easy to get around. The owner was extremely friendly and accommodating, and has an awesome team working with him. We celebrated our Golden Wedding Anniversary at The Blue Emerald with our children and grandchildren, and it made our time in Cape Town very special. The pool was a bonus the children loved, and the villa has room for everyone to have their own space while still being together. From the bay and Lions Head you get stunning sunsets, and the beach is an easy walk away. Jared was an excellent host, and Tenika and Margaret, who run the house, were friendly and hardworking while staying unobtrusive. They all made us feel well looked after.

We stayed with a big group of family and friends from England for our daughter's wedding, and can't wait to return to the villa and the area. It felt like the most beautiful home you could imagine, with seven bedrooms, a large kitchen and living room, and a lovely pool where everyone gathered at night. The ocean and mountain views are matched by Jared's care and attention. The staff were welcoming and kept everything neat, and did our washing and ironing too. Camps Bay, with its bars and restaurants, is a short walk away. Jared was easy to contact and came to welcome us, then say goodbye when we left. We felt genuinely welcome. If you want space and luxury in Camps Bay, this is an incredible place to stay.
