We spent two nights here while touring the Western Cape and really enjoyed it. The room was amazing, and we ate at the restaurant both evenings. The food was delicious.

The setting is beautiful, the included breakfast is delicious, and the staff are brilliant. I wholeheartedly recommend this guesthouse.

The location is good, though the price felt high. There’s off-street parking, and the room is well equipped but small. A few things could use attention, like the kitchen cupboard kick-space, shower curtain and dishwashing liquid. Reception was great, and there was plunger coffee and rusks available.

The service for the price was the best I’ve come across. The staff were amazing, and the estate felt high class and well organized, with nothing missing. There was air conditioning, a refrigerator, laundry service and a well-appointed guest lobby. Breakfast was very good, with continental options plus eggs and toast made to order in any style.

My brother came from Joburg for a one-day business meeting, and I booked him a room here. He couldn’t stop telling me how lovely and peaceful Wild Olive Guest House was. Keep up the great standard 🌻💛
