The location worked well, with a garage within walking distance and Centurion Mall just a five-minute drive away. It felt safe. Munyai from security was always smiling and had a good sense of humour. Mbali at reception was awesome and bubbly, and Nonkululeko was professional and interesting.

The location was excellent, and the staff and breakfast were good. The rooms are small, but neat and comfortable. The TV had very few channels. Google showed it as one star, so I was nervous, but to me it felt more like a three-star place.

Everyone we dealt with was great. Chef Ntombi was working nights during our stay, and we really liked her food, the way she served it, and her etiquette. Siyathemba, the WSU intern at reception, was so hospitable. He deserves a full-time job. Sisi Mbali at reception was attentive and kind whenever we needed a response. Sisi Linah from housekeeping even fixed the coffee machine herself when it had a problem, and we started calling her Chief Engineer Linah. Manager Mariska was very down to earth. Five out of five for all of them. The hotel should raise their salaries (^_^).

Breakfast service was good, and there was ample parking. The room was clean, though not spotless. There's no lift. My card stopped working, so each day I had to go back to reception to reload it.

The rooms are decent, but the food menu needs work. Breakfast needs a lot of improvement, with no real options, especially if you don't eat pork. It wasn't that great.
