Prana Lodge

Such a shame to see the place looking rundown. The food was really disappointing and didn't feel up to the standard of a 5 star lodge.

They did provide a complimentary dinner, but the food was average, the service was shocking, and the whole experience fell short. It took them 3 days to get back to us. The toilet area was dirty, paint was peeling off the wall, and it was so dark we could barely see where we were going and nearly fell. It was a bad experience and things just aren't the same. I won't be going back. The owners need to take a serious look at what's happening. People talk, and this could damage the business.

The food was inedible. I've never seen a “chef” show so little respect for ingredients. The manager was nowhere to be found, but I'd welcome the owner contacting me for a meaningful conversation. I live in Chintsa and recommended a stay here based on its past reputation. Coming through the “5 star” gate gave us hope, but the whole place is rundown and shabby. I can't understand how they charge so much for what felt like our version of hell. The owners and management must be either first class rip-off artists or ignorant at best. This place has no star rating, just lingering regret. The word that comes to mind is “embarrassing.”

The massages were phenomenal, and Nomie and Linda deserve big compliments for their skill and care. My boyfriend and I also loved the restaurant's lovely atmosphere and delicious food, so it was a beautiful day at Prana Lodge. The awkward part came when we were leaving. I'd paid 50% of the bill in advance and the rest the day before we arrived, but was asked to pay again. Reception and the restaurant didn't seem to know the bill was settled. It left me frustrated after such a good day. Without that mix-up, it would've been a flawless five-star experience. I hope Prana Lodge improves communication between departments.
