Aan d'Oewer

Arriving in winter, I was glad to find the room already warm. It was spotless, with a comfortable bed and crisp white linen, and the view from this quiet area was lovely. The pool was a clear blue, with a braai area and sun deck. The owner and staff were very helpful too. A great stay.

The peaceful setting made Aan d'Oewer B&B feel like a real escape from city life, and the mountain views were beautiful from the moment I arrived. I found the hosts especially welcoming and felt right at home throughout my stay. My room was comfortable and nicely decorated, and the property was very well cared for. The gardens were lush, and there was a charming outdoor spot where I could enjoy coffee in the morning or a glass of wine later. It had everything I needed for a relaxing visit. I’d happily return to this hidden gem in Citrusdal.

We arrived without a booking and were welcomed so warmly that we felt at home right away. After eight hours on the road, that hot, strong shower was especially good. The room was good too.

The service stood out, with staff who were both friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed having dinner and breakfast there. Citrusdal has a lovely little oasis overlooking the golf course and river valley, with a good garden, pool, and rooms that have what you need.
