I was working locally on contract and booked Blommenberg guesthouse for a stay of at least two months, which I had paid for. After just two weeks, during a weekend, management suddenly told me another booking had been made for my room and I needed to leave immediately. Apparently, peak season short stays bring in more, so my long-term rate was pushed aside. I was stunned. Customer care clearly doesn't count for much here. It's not cheap and doesn't feel worth the money. Look elsewhere, or you may find yourself out on the street.

I didn't feel welcome at all. The rooms give a misleading impression, and while I was by the pool the host watched me from a distance, which made me really uncomfortable. Parking is off-street and not secure.

The WiFi worked really well, but the place needs attention. The pool was green, and both the rooms and bathrooms could use upgrades. It's also noisy, being right beside the main road.

They handle groups of any size professionally and get things done on time. The managers really care. Well done!

The staff were lovely and the service was great. Breakfast was freshly made and a pleasure to eat.
