Breakfast was delicious, and the staff were all friendly, especially the owners. It's a well cared for B&B with great owners. Our Saturday stay was noisy, though. The sound seemed to come from the area and/or other guests, so it may depend on the day. People I know who stayed longer said it had become much quieter and more relaxing by Monday. One practical tip: Google Maps or Waze may route you through a township, so stick to the main roads.

We didn't feel welcome, and at times it seemed the staff thought we were a bother. Nobody was there at check-in, and we couldn't reach anyone by phone despite trying repeatedly. Some basic things were missing, too. The eggs at breakfast on day two were old and tasted bad. Sorry, but I can't recommend staying here.

The gardens and rooms are well maintained, the views are beautiful, and the service is excellent. Breakfast was very good, and the nightly rate offers great value. I'll stay here again next time. "It's really, really nice here."

The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the views are lovely. It's also close to the main square. One thing to watch: Google Maps sends you through the township, so take the main road to the lodge instead.

The room was spotless and the food was delicious. You can tell how much care goes into all the details. The owner was incredibly friendly and thoughtful, and made us feel at home by going above and beyond. We left relaxed and happy, already thinking about coming back. Do yourself a favour and stay here.
