We were sorry to leave Eaglesview after three nights over New Year, and we’re already planning another trip. The garden and mountain scenery made it easy to unwind, while the square was close enough to wander to without the noise reaching us. George, Brenda and the staff were fantastic, and George was happy to help with anything. We felt at home straight away. It’s become our happy place.

The rooms were clean and carefully decorated, and the hospitality was lovely. You’re just down the street from everything, but it stays quiet. Mountains surround the property, and the garden is beautiful. Keep it up, Brenda and George!

We had a wonderful night at Fairview Cottages. Brenda and George were lovely hosts, and the view from Eagle's View was a real treat.

The mountain scenery from the room and our own outdoor sitting area were the best parts of the guesthouse. We stayed one night; the room was on the small side, but the kitchenette came in handy and the bed was very large and comfortable. The bathroom felt dated and could use an upgrade. It would also help if the check-in and check-out steps were explained more clearly.

We’ve stayed in these cottages twice, and both times left feeling happy. The views are wonderful, even from the bathroom, and the mountain walking trails are nearby. The square is within walking distance too. The owners are warm, down-to-earth people, and Oom is happy to share tips to make your stay memorable. We’ll definitely return.
