Sleeping in a tent with animals all around was a special part of our peaceful stay at Parkview. The accommodation was beautiful, and we had a really great time. Pierre and his wife were both kind and welcoming. A big thanks to Pierre for an amazing safari, too. He’s a great guide, and we learned and saw a lot. There weren’t any milk alternatives, but that was only a small thing and no big problem for us. We’re very thankful and really enjoyed the stay.

The people were lovely, and breakfast was great. We stayed in the tents, where it was really cool hearing some of the animals. On the safari in Schotia, we saw literally every animal.

We stayed in the tented accommodation, just 2 minutes from the Addo Park South gate and 10 minutes from the Addo Park marine conservation entrance at Pearson Park. The cleanliness, meals, hospitality and helpfulness all exceeded expectations. Caitlin gave us truly exceptional hospitality, Marlene prepared delicious dining, and Koen welcomed us with warm fires. For nature lovers, this was a huge spoil and a haven to restore your soul. We’re so grateful, and highly recommend it.

The management was very nice and arranged a great safari for us, but the place could be so much more. The tents are great, though the furniture is old and we had a leaking tube in the bathroom. Breakfast wasn’t good at all. With a bit more effort, this place could be amazing.

The grounds and the wider lodge looked lovely, and the two people we spoke with were really friendly. We were the only guests that night, and I think there might have been a better atmosphere with more people around. There’d been no power for 12 hours, which wasn’t the lodge’s fault. At check-in and again in the morning, there was just one staff member. We were told the regular staff were recovering after hosting a wedding. They gave us a basic breakfast because they were short staffed, so we packed up and left. I’m sure it’s probably lovely in a busier season.
