Benguela

Breakfast was a treat each morning, fresh, full of flavour and beautifully prepared. We spent several days at Benguela, and every breakfast gave us something to look forward to. Jonathan and his team were attentive and genuinely welcoming, making us feel cared for and at home from the moment we arrived. The coastal views of Walker Bay complement the light, open spaces, eclectic art, thoughtful touches and calming colours. The place brings style, comfort and creativity together in a way that makes it easy to slow down and settle in. It blends relaxed coastal living with warm hospitality, and had us already thinking about a return before we left. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We planned on two nights and stayed the whole week. The view rooms are stunning, and every morning brought a different breakfast, each one delicious and a little masterpiece. We would have stayed even longer if we could. The internet was seamless, with no problems at all during video calls, so it worked perfectly for remote work. The rooms are clean, well organized and thoughtfully designed, with very comfortable beds. The bright, classy interior is full of beautiful art, and everything feels warm and cared for. Jonathan welcomed us like friends from the moment we arrived. It felt like home, and we can't wait to return.

Kari and I had the privilege of staying at the Benguela guesthouse for one night. The peaceful atmosphere and spacious rooms made it a lovely stay, and Jonathan’s food was a real treat. Thanks to all the friendly staff for making it so memorable.

The ocean views were breathtaking, and Jonathan's home is full of distinctive art that reflects his eclectic taste. Jonathan and Godwin made us feel welcome and at home from the moment we arrived, and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. We had a spacious, comfortable room where we could unwind after exploring. Breakfast was a highlight, with fresh fruit and delicious coffee to start the day. The stay was delightful overall, with a couple of minor inconveniences. The room got quite hot at night when the AC unit was off during load shedding. Jonathan had generators for daytime use, but nighttime comfort was affected. The bathroom drained slowly, so we had to pause our showers while the water cleared. Even with those issues, we highly recommend this peaceful coastal retreat for a memorable stay.
