If you're in the Douglas area, I highly recommend staying here. The people are fantastic, the location is awesome, and the service is excellent.

We had a wonderful stay at Rene's Guesthouse. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and our room was clean and comfortable. In the scorching heat, we especially appreciated having the swimming pool. Highly recommend.

On my third visit to Douglas, I’ve found my favourite guest house. The rooms are very clean and stylish, and the owner is warm and welcoming. I also love all the plants and flowers in the landscape. It's a gem, and I can't fault anything.

A comfortable place to sleep, especially on a business trip. The rooms have everything you need. They provide breakfast and a packed lunch.

René really goes the extra mile for her clients. The guest house is excellent and very sophisticated, the rooms are neat and tidy, and breakfast was awesome. Douglas itself didn't appeal to me much as a tourist destination. I had to visit because of a personal bereavement, but I won't feel any urge to return to Douglas.
