I stayed here on the nights of 25 and 26 November 2023 and really enjoyed it. The owner met me at the gate with a huge smile, and I appreciated the kindness of him and his wife. Whenever I’m in Dullstroom, I won’t stay anywhere other than Charilo Guest House.

The rooms were clean and nice, and the location made it easy to walk from Charilo Guest house to the main street and explore Dullstroom’s quaint shops and restaurants. I knew they didn’t offer Wi-Fi, so that wasn’t a surprise, though I do think the guest house should consider adding it. I’ll visit again 🙂

We had a spacious, tidy, peaceful garden cottage with a fireplace. Allen and Isabel welcomed us so warmly and kindly. We highly recommend staying with them.

What a beautiful, well-kept place at reasonable prices. Thank you, Isabel and Alan, for being so friendly and hospitable during our Oppi-Plaas Fees weekend, and for making it such an enjoyable stay. It's a pity I didn't meet you in person, Isabel, but we’ll be back. Highly recommend it when visiting this lovely little town. Thank you, Joao & Ana-Maria.

A clean, tidy place close to everything. The bed was very hard, but I still had a good night's rest.
