We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed lovely walks each morning. The hotel and staff were excellent, and we'll be back. The bathroom had very little privacy, though. Since everything in Dullstroom closes at 17:00, we were disappointed by the hotel's dinner quality. A bit more imagination and thought could encourage guests to eat there and attract other diners too.

Our stay at Dunkeld East was short but amazing. The staff were warm, friendly, and always ready to help or go the extra mile. The experience exceeded all my expectations, and I'd recommend it to anyone travelling to Dullstroom. Tisani family

The main lobby at Dunkeld East was a lovely place to drink wine and relax while looking out over the lake. The property feels calm and intimate, with a real sense of serenity. I went for a run around it, and the scenery was breathtaking. The rooms are spacious and cozy, and the fireplace was great for staying warm in winter. I spent two nights at Dunkeld East and two at Dunkeld estate. Those first two nights were incredible. Special mention to Marie Anne and Micheal in management, who made the stay much more valuable.

We chose Dunkeld East Hotel for our anniversary and had a special stay. The staff were friendly, the meals delicious, and the views amazing, with the occasional Fish Eagle call adding to the peaceful feeling. We'll definitely be back.

The rooms were comfortable and had a great lake view, and the staff were kind, friendly, and helpful. The restaurant had no vegetarian options at all for dinner. We also had some trouble with the room being ready on time, and the 4pm check-in felt unusually late. The place isn't set up for young kids.
