No manager communication, and no contact option got any response. The gate motor and outside lights don’t work, wifi is off, and Dstv is off. There’s no smart tv.

Everything we needed was in the self-catering unit, and it’s within walking distance of the main road. The beds are super comfy, and the linen, duvet covers and pillows were fantastic. It’s great for group bookings. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely come again.

The bathroom is roomy and neat, but the heating bulbs had been removed from the light fittings. Rooms are large and furnished well, and the kitchenette has everything necessary, though a pair of tongs for handling logs at the indoor fireplace would help. The beds and blankets were nice, but electric blankets would have been welcome in Dullstroom. The neat yard is huge. If we’d stayed longer, the kids would have enjoyed playing there.

The gardens are well looked after, and the linen was white and crisp. The room is lovely, but the unit needs maintenance: the kettle didn’t work, there are damp patches on the walls, plug fittings on the floor, and ants.

The interior is nice, but it gets too hot in summer with no fan or aircon. The shower door comes off its hinges, and the house alarm next door went off for 10-20 minute stretches about 4/5 times a night.
