Clinch Self Catering

We stayed in cosy den in December 2021, and it didn't work well as self catering for a family. The two bedrooms were fine, but the lounge had been turned into another sleeping area with two single beds taking up most of the space beside the tiny kitchen. A pull out sleeper couch would have worked better. There's no stove, just an old two plate oven with burnt on plates and a mini oven that was burnt inside. The cups and glasses were mismatched, and some had chips. The whole setup felt outdated and wasn't very vacation friendly. It's in a suburb where neighbours complain about noise, and although the nearby beach is beautiful, it's not a swimming beach. Parking is very limited and hazardous when the guest house is full. The bathrooms were tiny compared with the pictures, and a lot of plugs and switches were dirty. The bedding was changed and there was Wi-Fi. For the money we spent over December, it wasn't worth it for a family with kids. I'd say it's better for a short business stay than a long self catering holiday.

Clinch Self Catering has recently had a new manager and a redecorating. They've identified and dealt with all the previous problems, and we look forward to welcoming you.

This place isn't vacation friendly. We were shouted at every night for playing music, even though we'd asked if it was vac friendly and the lady said, of course. We were told what time to leave and come home. Neighbours set off firecrackers at the monkeys almost every day. The helpers who were supposed to clean the rooms didn't do it, and when they did, they'd throw the knives and forks all over the drawer.

You are liars, and this is not a nice place for a holiday. We had to ask for toilet paper because none was provided. The manager was very rude and threatened to call the police on us. We booked the whole house, so there were no other guests. I don't know how you can claim there was toilet paper when you, the owner, weren't there. No one threw bottles or cans next door. You're deceiving people. You're replying as if you were present, but you weren't. You should apologize for your manager instead of defending them. They don't know how to speak to people and are rude and disrespectful.
