Having the sea right behind the place made it easy to take morning walks and clear our heads before sunset. My siblings and I had an amazing time, especially after the tough year we’d had in 2024. It was our first visit to Durban, and even the little things, like the shuttle service, helped us feel safe and at home. We booked quite late in the year, but Mr James, his son, and the staff still made room for us. The breakfasts were wonderful, and we’ll miss the meals. It was one of the best experiences of our lives. I’d recommend it to anyone who needs a break from city life, and I hope we can visit again soon.

The front room has spectacular sea views, and the beach is less than 50m away. Staff were friendly, happy to help with any request, and attended to the rooms daily. Breakfast was generous and tasty, with something different each day. A delightful place to stay in Bluff, Durban.

The beach is just a short walk away, and we even spotted whales from the balcony. James & his team looked after us so well and were really friendly. Our room was clean, spacious, and had an amazing view. We felt at home as soon as we arrived, and we’ll definitely be back. 😊
