I slept really comfortably, and the breakfast was excellent.

The place needs some care, and the location isn't ideal. There was no breakfast buffet, just the same food every day and cold coffee. We had no extra blankets, and the one we asked for was dirty. The air conditioning didn't work, and we were given only one towel.

The rooms are large and get plenty of light, and the guest house is nicely located near Morningside. The food and drinks available in the room and at breakfast could use more variety. Check which property you're booking, since this group has several locations and not all of them have a yard and pool. The breakfast room has a great view and terrace, but feels lifeless in the morning. Some music would be nice.

The beds were comfortable, and the room was tidy and clean. It's a comfortable, homely place with self-catering, though there aren't many cooking utensils. All in all, it's a good spot for an overnight stay.
