I had a great stay with the new owners. They were really focused on their guests, and the owner even called to keep us updated on the town's weather since we were travelling from another town. The service was excellent.

I was happy to pay R950 for a short 2/3-hour stay to freshen up, after calling early that morning and being told to come in. But once I reached the gate and rang the intercom, nobody answered, and their phones were switched off. It felt deliberate. I don't recommend the place at all; it doesn't deserve even one star. Luckily, I drove around and found a much more welcoming guesthouse nearby.

The rooms are spacious and it feels a bit like being at home, just away from home. The yard is kept so neat, the staff are friendly, and the price is excellent value. Thanks for everything, I'd recommend staying here.

The place was very clean, and breakfast was okay. It's easy to find, too. The heater helped a lot in the cold winter weather, though on the first day the hot water kept coming and going.

A Venus flytrap. I signed a contract for a 12 month stay, but after only 3 months the owners raised the rent by 48%, breaking the agreement. Extremely disappointing.
