The braai facilities and covered entertaining area worked perfectly for our family visit. We were looking for somewhere suitable before half of us returned to Dubai, and felt completely at home. The rooms were well equipped, neatly laid out and tidy. Special thanks to Salome Chanda, who went the extra mile for us. She's a real asset to the company.

This definitely doesn't feel like a 4 Star stay. The day manager on duty was extremely unfriendly and inhospitable, with an attitude problem. The TV in the room didn't work, the towel hooks were coming off the wall, and the bathroom door was hard to open and blocked the passage when open. Breakfast was terrible too, with rock-hard bread and awful coffee.

It's a nice, clean and neat place, and the staff are friendly. Rebecca, one of the housekeepers, was especially warm and friendly. I wasn't happy with the food, though. Dinner was always the same dish, and they should hire a professional chef.

The bedrooms were clean, quiet and had everything I needed. The pool is so well kept and inviting that even someone who isn't much of a swimmer might be tempted in. The property also sits right by a peaceful lake, with a lovely view.

The staff were nice, but that was the only good part for me. Meals were bland and repetitive, even when they changed how the same food was prepared. I never looked forward to breakfast or lunch. Such a letdown. They really need to hire a chef.
