Ruth, I think that was her name, made breakfast and was so friendly, always with a pleasant smile. The service and hospitality were great, and the place was super clean. I had to find somewhere during the festive season after a family hospital emergency, without a booking, and was so glad I found Avonlea. Twenty out of ten all round.

The rooms were spacious and clean, breakfast was good, and the location suited us perfectly. The service was great too. Honestly, it's one of the best places to book in Polokwane. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend it.

The breakfast was a real highlight, freshly made, tasty, and with plenty of choices. Staff were attentive and friendly, and the rooms were clean, roomy, comfortable, and nicely decorated. Avonlea Guesthouse in Polokwane felt peaceful, with lovely gardens and well-kept shared areas. The only small issue was that Wi-Fi was weaker in some parts of the property, though it didn't affect our stay much. I'd recommend it for business or leisure visits.

Coffee Couture just across the road was so convenient and kept me fueled on busy days. The internet was lightning fast, which let me finish work quickly, and my room was spotless with a lovely garden view. From the warm welcome to the easy booking process, everything went smoothly. I would've liked air conditioning, but it didn't take away from a great stay. If you're in Polokwane City, I'd highly recommend booking here.
