The room was really spacious, and the bed was super comfy. Everything you need is there, including a Nespresso machine in the kitchenette and a great selection of teas you don't usually find in a guesthouse. Highly recommended!

This was our second stay because we love the guesthouse, the hosts and the location. During our last visit, we got caught in a flood. Frranschoek was the worst affected by a storm in the Western Cape's history: 300mm of rain in less than 24h, with mudslides and serious flooding. The town was shut down, but Lyn and Mick kept us updated, moved us to a room one story higher so the water wouldn't affect us, and brought us home-cooked meals and even wine. I can't thank them enough for taking such good care of us through such a traumatic time.

The hosts were so friendly and welcoming, and the place is ideally located, with beautiful valley scenery. Our bedroom was spacious, airy and beautifully furnished, with a comfortable bed and its own courtyard for relaxing and braai. There was a pool right outside our room, plus a jacuzzi. It felt very safe and was perfect for downtime. Excellent accommodation, and I'd definitely recommend it.

The hosts were great and so was the location, but the Pinotage room was probably the worst one we stayed in on our South Africa trip. A cupboard held the load shedding batteries, which give off heat. Their loud cooling fan switched on many times during the night, and there was an unpleasant electric smell from the batteries, maybe ozone.
