The gardens and grounds are beautiful, and the whole team, especially the owners, were kind and helpful. We had an incredible stay in rooms that were spacious, clean, comfortable, and very nice. One of the best hotels we’ve stayed at. It was a perfect boutique hotel experience, and we’ll definitely be back.

A great find, with gorgeous rooms and unbelievable mountain views. The host made us feel welcome and well looked after. It’s also close to plenty of wine, and such a photogenic place. A winner!

We came with a wedding party of 24 and had an unforgettable stay at Fransvliet. Vanessa and her team made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The houses were beautiful, well maintained, and tastefully decorated, with everything we needed and more. Staff were kind, attentive, and professional, and breakfast was delicious. Vanessa also went out of her way to sort out logistics and last-minute requests and make sure everyone was comfortable. We’re grateful for such a meaningful time here, and we’ll be talking about it for years. Can’t wait to return!

Breakfast had a great range of delicious options, and we spent plenty of time relaxing by the pool in the peaceful surroundings. Fransvliet is a beautiful property, and our comfortable, thoughtfully designed accommodation felt like a real escape. We loved our stay and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a restful getaway in Franschhoek.

The suites were clean, fresh, and well appointed, and having both ceiling fans and A/C kept me cool on warm African evenings. Vanessa and the team gave us wonderful service. Juanita kept the admin running smoothly when we wanted to extend our stay, and Aaron and the restaurant service team were consistently impressive. The location works well for exploring nearby areas, and Vanessa had some good suggestions for places to go, see, and eat. I’d happily recommend Franvliet Guest House to anyone visiting Franschhoek.
