The boutique hotel was a little gem, and everything from making the booking through to the stay was a pleasure. The staff were great, friendly, and the place was clean and well maintained. Our room was spacious with plenty of storage, and the pool was immaculate. My one personal gripe was the Nespresso. I found it horrible and would have preferred a kettle. Thanks for making our stay in Franshoek an unforgettable memory.

After I first shared feedback with management, the hotel’s general manager, Celeste, got in touch and took time to hear us out. She was kind and made us feel that the hotel puts people before profit, which is rare these days. My wife and I will give Hotel Du Vin another chance to wow us, so we’ve changed our rating to five stars. Thank you, Celeste and team.

The staff were wonderful, all very kind and polite. Our room was clean and pleasant, and the food was great. The location has lovely views all around, and the courtyard and terrace are perfect for coffee or breakfast. I highly recommend booking.

We stayed two nights at this quaint, historic Hotel du Vin and had an amazing time. The staff were friendly and happy to help with anything. The mattress was fantastic, just what you need for a good night’s sleep. I’ll definitely come back. Thank you 🤗

The hotel was recommended to us after we had a bit of a tough time arriving in Franschhoek, and we were relieved they had a room available during high season. The welcome was warm, and the staff were friendly and patient. They didn’t try to take advantage of our situation, quite the opposite. Our rooms were very nice, with a mountain view, and surprisingly quiet despite facing a street. The hotel is on a side road off Franschhoek’s main road, close to the lively centre without the traffic and noise. Breakfast was fantastic, service was great, and everyone we met was super friendly. Thanks for having us, and have a great rest of the season.
