The staff were wonderful, breakfast was delicious, and the complimentary wine tasting was a lovely extra. Our Mountain View “room” was actually a separate little house, with a kitchenette, garden, and even a jacuzzi. After days spent exploring vineyards, sitting inside or out in complete silence was just what we needed. The pool area is stunning, the estate is beautifully green, and the mountain views are picturesque. It feels private and calm, though it’s only about a 10-15 minute walk from the main street and its restaurants and busy life. We could move in and never leave :)

The gardens feel magical, and the mountain views are out of this world. The staff were amazing and breakfast delicious. La Villa is ideally placed for a Franschoek breakaway. Absolutely wonderful, and we’ll definitely return.

Gilbert and Noel are a real credit to the business. Their wine tasting and the stories they shared were a highlight. Breakfast was excellent, the staff couldn’t have been more attentive, and the whole experience was top rate. I’d 100% stay again.

The stone cottage made for such a unique and memorable stay, and we felt well looked after throughout our two nights there with a friend. The grounds and views are stunning, and the interiors are lovely. Breakfast had a good variety and was nicely presented. We also enjoyed the wine tasting, and the pool is a great place to unwind. It’s quiet here, but still just a short walk into Franschhoek. We’d love to return.

We had a lovely two-night family stay. The rooms are distinctive and comfortable, and the gardens and swimming pool are beautifully maintained. The staff were attentive, and the care in the details made this a five-star experience.
