They were really friendly and had a great location. The rooms are great too, apart from the shower being lukewarm. Management said they’d deal with it. I was also very grateful they could arrange an early breakfast.

Breakfast was delicious and nicely presented every morning, with something different each time. I enjoyed being able to make a fire and have a braai, and the Lodge had a lovely homely, rustic feel. The ambiance was fantastic. The rooms were clean, serviced daily, and well maintained throughout. Management was hands-on and kept checking that I was happy with my stay. The service is world-class. Well done, I’ll definitely be back again and again. Keep it up. 👏👏👏

17 on Wellington is close to shops and restaurants, which made it really convenient. We had a lovely stay, with beautiful, neat rooms and owners who were polite, kind, and helpful. I’d highly recommend it when visiting George.

Sonja made breakfast feel warm and welcoming each morning. She’s polite, friendly, and experienced, and the treats were lovely. She also did our laundry, which we appreciated. The staff were quick to respond on WhatsApp, and the warm water bottle at night plus the heater helped us a lot through the cold winter. Thanks for such a warm stay and a great place. Wellington is a great stay. We hope to return next year.
