Amanda and her team were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. When unexpected emergencies came up, they gave us immediate, outstanding support. We were extremely satisfied with every part of our stay. We were ten people staying at Acorn Guesthouse in George for paragliding. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well equipped, the location was perfect, and breakfast was excellent. Highly recommended. We’d definitely come back!

Thanks for fitting us in at such short notice. The front desk was really helpful with family friendly activities in the area. The rooms were very nice and extremely spacious, and it’s a great place overall.

When our car broke down, we needed to add four nights to our stay. Even though they were fully booked, the staff went above and beyond to make room for us. Their kindness and hospitality made a stressful time much easier. The team and management are warm, professional, and always willing to help. Breakfast was outstanding, especially the world-class omelette. This should be everyone’s first choice in George. Thank you for everything. We’ll definitely be back!

Acorn Guest House felt like a welcoming, comfortable home away from home. The buffet breakfast was excellent, served from 7am to 9.30am. At check-in, Bernard greeted me warmly, helped with my heavy luggage, and showed me to my room. Amanda helped serve breakfast and made sure everything was in order, so checking out was a breeze. The guest lodge is beautifully decorated and within walking distance of the city centre. My room was very comfortable and had all the amenities I needed, plus more.

Lovely. The carefully decorated Guesthouse had everything I’d expect from a 4 star hotel.
