The place has a homely feel, and the owner treats you like family. Out of Bounds Self-Catering Lodge is one of the most comfortable places we've stayed, even though we travel a lot. The rooms are neat, the beds comfortable, and the bathroom is especially tidy and upmarket. The kitchen, lounge, and dining area flow nicely, so I could work and watch TV while my wife cooked. Outside, there's a veranda with a good braai spot, comfortable chairs, and a lovely garden. Cleaning was done three days a week. It's right by the entrance to Fancourt, with restaurants, coffee shops, and shops close by. I highly recommend booking here when you're in the area.

The bedrooms and kitchen had everything we needed, and the garden was beautifully kept. The unit smelled lovely when I arrived and was very clean and tidy. I’d definitely recommend it for a holiday.

The self-service check-in was easy, and there was plenty of parking. I loved walking through the garden to reach the door. Although the unit is behind the owner’s home, it feels private and separate. The inverter helped during loadshedding, and the Wi-Fi meant I could finish some work. They’d even left tea, coffee, and the sweetest little milk jug. The beds were so comfortable, and everything smelled fresh. Such a lovely find, clean, neat, and comfortable, with everything in place. I’ll definitely stay again.

The bed was incredible, and the shower was great too. Everything was clean and tidy, and the place was quiet, fully equipped, and surrounded by a lovely garden. We got such a warm welcome in George for our short visit. Great value, and definitely worth coming back for.

The host was so friendly and checked in on us now and then, always charming and never intrusive. The rooms, lounge, and kitchen were all excellent, and so were the fireplace and grounds. The community and surroundings were great too. Truly a 10/10 stay.
