Sarah went out of her way to fit in our last-minute booking and let us check in late, greeting us warmly when we got there. The place was spotless, beautiful, and pet-friendly, with plenty of room for our fur baby to explore. It’s also just a 20-minute drive to the beach. We all had a wonderful time and highly recommend staying at Sarah’s place in George.

Be careful with the listing for this location. We booked a flat at Sarah’s on booking.com after seeing photos of a spacious, attractive apartment, then discovered those pictures showed the main house, not the flat. When we raised it, the owner just said they could see how it was confusing. We ended up driving all the way home and our weekend plans were ruined. They took no responsibility for the mix-up.

Studio 1 had three beds, a kitchenette, and everything we needed, including fast Wi-Fi, Netflix, and DSTV Live Stream. The beds were very comfortable, and the house and garden were lovely, with safe, secure parking. Marianne made us feel so welcome, like we were staying with a friend. It felt like a cozy retreat in the heart of the Garden Route. We absolutely loved Sarah's place and would stay again.

The rooms are nice, with fabulous blankets and a great shower. One of the dogs did nip me, though it wasn’t serious. Best to leave the boy alone.
