I feel secure here, which matters a lot these days, and it’s my favourite place to stay in East London. The rooms are comfortable, and the TV is a good size with clear channels. The hostess is helpful and attentive. Breakfast is freshly made to your choice, though the options are quite simple: cereals and yogurts, plus eggs, bacon and sausage.

We didn’t feel welcome. On our first night, the manager came charging at us, saying she had other guests who needed to get up early. It came across as if they mattered more than we did. Some guests got friendly service, but she couldn’t even pretend to be pleasant with the Black people.

The pool is great for hot days, and there’s secure parking behind a gate. Rooms were comfortable, and both the service and breakfast were excellent. The one bother was the location right beside a busy road, where the noise could get pretty disturbing.

Wifi was steady and strong, and breakfast covered everything I needed. The rooms were neat and well organized too. A good stay all around for the price.
