Blue's Guest House

The views were breathtaking, and our rooms were spotless and well kept. We had a lovely stay at Blue’s Guest House. The staff, especially Noluthando and her colleagues, were warm, welcoming, and ready to help. They even went out of their way with our braai preparations on December 31, which we appreciated. A couple of things need attention. The gate wasn't working properly during the busy festive period, so we had to open it by hand each time. It would also be safer to put rails on the stairs or walkways to rooms 6 and 7, especially for children or guests who might be a bit tipsy. With the gate working, this would have been a five-star stay. We'll definitely book again.

The staff were so friendly and keen to help when I booked for my 21st birthday celebration. I had a really great time, and the service was excellent ❤️

I wish I'd booked here for my whole trip instead of hopping between guest houses. It's beautiful and peaceful, and it's become my lucky place to visit from time to time at the start of the year, since it's close to me. Zoe, I think that was her name, was amazing, friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The manager and the rest of the staff were great too.

What stood out most was how welcoming and accommodating the staff were. We arrived late and they heated up a ready meal for us, and they made room for us to leave late as well. The rooms were lovely, with comfortable beds, good linen, and a beautiful river view from each one. We were there as a work group, and breakfast was incredible: homemade muesli, fruit, yoghurt, baked goods, and a full English breakfast, all laid out beautifully every day. Five-star service!
