I accidentally booked rooms for the wrong date and tried to cancel within a minute so I could book the correct dates. That turned into a three-day fight over their refusal to accept any cancellation. I was told I had to pay the full price, even though the booking date was still more than a month away.

After a long drive, all I wanted was a clean room and a chance to rest. Instead, the room was unclean and the bed was balanced on bricks. When I tried to shower, the water was ice-cold. I called for help, but the grumpy woman and rude man acted like I was spoiling their night. He struggled to get the hot water working, then said it had been working all along and I must have been mistaken. That was incredibly disrespectful. The whole stay felt so bad I couldn’t even face the breakfast I’d paid for. I deeply regret booking here and would tell other travelers to avoid it at all costs.

My room was warm and very comfortable, with everything I needed. The accommodation also felt clean, safe, and homely. But I’m unhappy with the cash back and refund process. I still haven’t received my refund, and nobody explained that it could take more than seven days.
