I liked being able to choose my breakfast order ahead of time, and it was absolutely delicious. The place is lovely, right by the river, with pools too.

The pool was wonderful in the heat, and Mama B was a great host. She also served a superb breakfast.

We had a nice time here and enjoyed both the stay and the view of the river.

We picked Forword's mainly because it was close to the main road, making it easy to get in and out on our drive south. The room was small but had what we needed, and breakfast was very nice with a view over the pool. The caretaker was a lovely, personable lady, though she seemed a little lonely. The stay was pleasant enough and served its purpose, but it wasn't anything to write home about.

We were happy with our stay, and the river view is beautiful. The Loerie room seems to have had a slight revamp, which I loved. The lodge is quiet, easy to find, and convenient for restaurants and getting back from sightseeing. The prices aren't ridiculous, either. There were a few little glitches, but we’re definitely planning to return. Breakfast was delicious.
