The service is first class, and the place is safe, clean, and quiet in a great neighbourhood. Those are the main reasons I've returned to Kennington Palms so many times. It's the best-run B&B I've ever experienced.

Thandi and the owner are both lovely, and the beds are comfortable. The place is clean too. I'd recommend booking here, it's a lovely spot to stay while visiting East London.

I booked and paid for an overnight stay for 5 - 6 March, and received confirmation. Just minutes later, I called to say when I'd check in and was told they'd taken a walk-in booking, were full, and couldn't accommodate me. I'd already paid. This was on Saturday at 18:32, when I called. I asked about a refund but got the runaround, so I followed up by email. I've kept contacting the property since then, but haven't received any response about my money. I had to find somewhere else to stay, and I'm still waiting to hear when I can expect my refund.
