The garden and pool view were beautiful, and we settled quickly into the calm atmosphere. It was exactly the getaway we wanted, and our Boxer was welcomed and accommodated so well. It was a break for him too, and he seemed relaxed and comfortable, which was a relief. The staff were friendly, polite, and provided great service. The area felt safe and quiet, and the room was tidy. I loved having a TV by the couch in the small entrance area and another in the room itself. The bed was a dream, and the room and bathroom had a modern, luxurious look, with a great stoep and garden view and private space to ourselves. Having our own private remote operated garage for the car was an extra bonus. We never felt we needed to check whether the vehicle was still safe. We had breakfast there once and it was great. Since it's self service, I'd suggest adding a basin for washing glasses and a small workspace for preparing or serving dinner. There's a small coffee table with plates, glasses, and kettle, with a small fridge and microwave beside it, but no other space to wash or dish up. Still, this is definitely somewhere I'd happily stay for a night or longer.

A welcoming host and hostess, decent food, a great view, and a good neighbourhood. It's an awesome B&B close to the coast.

The garden cottage worked really well for our stay of just over a week. It was comfortable, very quiet around there, and had everything we could have wanted in the room. We also made good use of the outdoor seating and garage.

After a long trip, this was just the place to unwind. The accommodation was spotless and great, and the caring host made us feel welcome. Our dog enjoyed having a private garden too.
