The owner was helpful, and it felt like good value for money. The setting and views are lovely, but the room layout needs another look. Crockery was next to the toilet, which didn't seem hygienic, and although there were plates, glasses, and a microwave, there was no sink to rinse them. The washing basin was right by the crockery. The bedside pedestals were a long way from the bed, while the bar fridge sat too close and made noise as I slept. They could also improve the payment method and set up a small reception. With a few changes, this place could be great.

After a long trip, we had a lovely rest here. The rooms were beautiful, the service was top notch, and our view over the rivermouth was gorgeous.

Everyone was so friendly and made us feel welcome. It's a beautiful little place, exceptionally clean, and the breakfast was to die for. Really wonderful being here.

Such a peaceful spot, and the view is stunning. Maxine is an excellent host. This hidden gem is somewhere I could escape to often.
