I spent just the weekend there. The host was welcoming and friendly, and the room was very nice and in a quiet area. The beach, restaurants and malls were all reasonably close.

Alan made us feel welcome despite our late check-in, and his breakfast was superb. We also had a nice chat with the owner at breakfast, who took the time to talk with us. The place is pretty and well maintained. We only stayed one night before an early flight to Johannesburg, but we'd definitely come back to see it in summer.

Alida made a lovely welcome note with our names on it, and both she and Allan (spelling?) were so kind. We really valued Alida's practical advice and Garden Route recommendations. Since she'd traveled a lot, she was able to help us plan our own trip. The rooms were good, and the location felt safe, just a five-minute walk from the beach. We started our trip from PE to Cape Elizabeth here and would definitely return.

The family room worked perfectly for the four of us. It was clean, beautifully furnished and had everything we needed, along with a few thoughtful touches. Alida (Big Momma) gave us a warm welcome and was incredibly helpful from the moment we arrived. Highly recommend it if you're in PE, and we'd come back if we're in the area.
