Crystal is the reason I’m giving service three stars. She does an amazing job keeping the B&B running. Since Henk and Celius sold, though, the place has gone downhill. The carpets were torn, and the old towels didn’t look usable. Vegetarian hot meals are no longer available, and the amenities don’t meet the quality I’d expect from a four-star establishment. Attention to detail has slipped since the change in ownership. I think it could return to its former standard if the new owners or the business that took over got involved.

The rooms were clean and smelled fresh, and there’s parking available. We had a wonderful two-night stay, with great breakfast and accommodation. The beach is just a short walk away.

It’s in a secure, safe area and well located, with easy access to the beach and the boardwalk just a few blocks away. The host and staff were exceptional and gave us space. I’d visit again.
