That private pool was especially welcome in the 36-degree heat, and the location made our overnight stop easy. There’s a great restaurant right across the road. We found the stay comfortable and relaxing.

Linda was such a good host, and the accommodation and service were excellent. It felt like home away from home.

The rooms are comfortable and decorated with taste. The cottage is lovely, easy to find and book, and has safe parking. I could happily have stayed for at least a week.

We keep coming back to De Kothuize for the lovely, convenient cottages, friendly staff, and secure parking. Some shade in the courtyards would make it easier to sit outside during the day, and WiFi would be good to have.

From our first phone call to saying goodbye, everyone was so warm and helpful. Linda had turned on the entrance light and bedroom heaters, which made arriving feel like coming home. The cottage was beautiful, spotless, comfortable, and had everything we could ask for. We had a wonderful night in this little gem, and would absolutely stay again if we're passing through.
