Watching the birds and a pair of Nyala visit while we braaied outside, with the mountain in front of us, made our stay at the Farm House special. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We felt safe and relaxed, and enjoyed getting a taste of farmhouse life. Thanks for having us. We’ll definitely be back! 🙂

We normally book in town, but tried somewhere different after making a last-minute booking on our way to Gauteng. Glad we did: it was so quiet and peaceful. Lucia is a gem and waited patiently for us to arrive. Everything was spotless, and the place is close enough to town, with plenty of room to park trailers.

The price was very reasonable, and the rooms were comfortable with great bathrooms. It’s a beautiful, peaceful spot where you can hear nature all around you. The stars at night were stunning.

There’s a tequila-making history here that goes back generations, which was a nice bonus. The house itself was tidy and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. I’d definitely recommend this place for a larger group.

We stopped here during a road trip and tried the Agave tasting, Tequila iow. It was really interesting, and I think we’re all fans of this incredible spirit now. Tim, the owner, gave us a balanced account of the area and the farm’s history, including the challenges they’ve faced over the years. It’s a gorgeous setting with a wonderful old farmhouse. Highly recommended.
