The Hideaway Cottage has clearly been planned with care, from its well-equipped kitchen to the ready-to-use braai area. We’ve visited plenty of lodges in Dinokeng, but Ikhaya LamaDube Lodge stood out as a lovely quiet escape for two. Tienie and Gerd were warm, organised, and quick to help, while Philip, the local manager, knows an incredible amount about Dinokeng wildlife and went out of his way for us. Cynthia was friendly and helpful too. We had an unbelievable weekend and will definitely return. Highly recommend it.

The wildlife sightings were a real treat, with rhino, kudu, wildebeest, and warthogs around the watering hole below our villa. We came back to Ikhaya for another peaceful break, and it remains a great place for couples wanting privacy, time to reconnect with nature, and a proper rest. The villa is beautifully furnished, with classic luxury touches and interiors that reflect the surrounding landscape. Cynthia and the staff gave us a warm welcome and looked after us so well.

We rented Villa1 and Villa 2 for a midweek stay, and the welcome from every staff member was so friendly and helpful. Opening the door to our villa was a real wow moment. The details inside and out were top billing. Thanks to the owners and staff for making the stay unforgettable.

From our log cabine we could watch the animals and catch some amazing sunsets. We had a wonderfull stay at @Ikhaya lamaDube Game Lodge, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
