Nehema Manor

A lovely, peaceful little escape from the city, just an hour from Johannesburg, and a beautiful place to visit with my partner. This was my second time at the cozy treehouse. The one letdown was finding the pool under renovation when we hadn’t been told beforehand. It would have been good to know.

The power problems left us sitting in the dark for hours at one point, and we left before the issue was fixed. The neighboring business seemed to have enough power, so it must have been a Nehema Manor problem. Apart from that, the staff were very friendly and helpful. They accommodated our needs, made sure we were happy, and were flexible about keeping guests satisfied. I was very happy with that.

The treehouse was spotless and had everything we needed to be comfortable. We also really appreciated how peaceful the property was, with guests giving one another space and no noise to disturb the privacy. Thank you for a memorable stay at Nehema Manor. The hospitality was wonderful, and the whole experience went beyond what I expected.

The views over Hartbeespoort and the quiet setting were lovely, and the pool seemed like a great place for families to relax. But quite a few things made the stay uncomfortable. The towels were marked and smelled musty, the beds were not clean, and the bathroom had mold. Some lights were missing, and the master bed was so soft it sagged in the middle. There was only one bedside lamp in that room, which made reading at night awkward. The couches looked unwashed and had burn marks, and tiles outside the unit were cracked. The location has a lot going for it, but these issues need attention for the stay to feel comfortable and hygienic.
