We spotted plenty of Impalas and even some Nyalas, and a vervet monkey troupe came by after someone left a window open. Keep an eye out for monkeys even when you can't see them. The gardens and golf course are magnificent, and the whole estate and our very clean unit were well looked after. The kitchen felt too small for me. There’s just one covered parking spot per unit, but management kindly let us use the covered space at an empty unit. Checkers Sixty60 delivers here.

The lodge is much bigger than I expected, and we didn't manage to explore all of it. There are quite a lot of bugs, but it's a beautiful spot for anyone who loves nature. My family and I had a great time, and we're already planning another visit. I’d recommend it 100%.

It's easy to spend a week here, with the river, wildlife, golf, walking trails, pools and entertainment around the resort. The Kruger National Park is 13 km away, and supermarkets and restaurants are only a few metres outside the gate. Our modern accommodation was very clean, and the facilities and grounds were in excellent shape. The staff were friendly too. A wonderful four-star hotel from the Legacy group, and a great base for visiting Kruger, taking the Panoramic Tour or exploring Mpumalanga.

We had a lovely birthday weekend here, thanks for hosting us. It’s clean, family friendly and good for golf, and I also enjoyed going for runs around the place. We loved everything.
