The Crocodile River sunsets were unforgettable, with the sun dipping below the horizon from the river deck in a golden, quiet scene. Waking to wildlife outside our room and taking early morning game drives, then having hot chocolate by the riverbank, made the stay feel like a real-life dream. Our unit at Mjejane Bush Camp had a private pool on the deck, so we could relax in the water while looking out across the reserve. It's a beautiful, peaceful escape into nature, and I'd love to return.

The wildlife visible from the balcony and private pool was the best part of our three-night stay. We also had a great time on the reserve's well-organized, informative game drives. There's a restaurant nearby if you don't want to cook.

We had a fantastic week and came here to enjoy the quiet and recharge. But please silence the radios on the game vehicles. It's frustrating to be watching a great sighting and hear rangers calling in the whole time. Maybe ask passengers whether they want to hear the radio noise. And please don't let more than 3 vehicles follow a cat sighting like the rest of the game world. We had 6 vehicles after 2 lion. That really takes away from the peace.

We'd always wanted to visit this reserve next to Kruger, and it felt special. Entering from the N4, we felt safe. The bush lodge welcomed us at check-in, and the house was clean, peaceful, and just right. We enjoyed a game drive, and it's also an easy trip to Kruger for the day since the gate isn't far. The staff were helpful and friendly throughout. Our family will return. Thanks!
