The place is handy for restaurants, churches, Spar, the post office, petrol stations and other local spots, and the quiet roads are nice for a walk. Inside, there’s plenty of room: two beds downstairs, a large bed upstairs, and a fan on the upper level. The living area has two big couches, one that converts to a bed, plus a roomy dining table. The kitchen has the basics and more for a longer stay, including a fridge, kettle, electric hobs, oven and dishwasher. There’s also an upstairs bathroom with a shower, toilet, basin and amenities. The pool isn’t heated, and the TV and reliable Wi-Fi are available in some parts of the rooms. The accommodation was clean and tidy, and the host was very welcoming. Good value for money.

We loved staying here and will definitely come back. Cheryl and Les have made it feel like a home away from home, and the apartment is spacious, bright and airy, with everything we needed to be comfortable.

The town felt safe and was easy to explore on foot, with a lovely church just across the road and seaside villages like Stillbay close enough for day trips. We felt at home straight away. The apartment is peaceful, the beds are comfortable, and it has a high-tech feel. Our hostess was warm and welcoming, with plenty of character. Such a treat.
