We had a private patio with a table and chairs that caught the afternoon sun, and our room had a generous shower with plenty of hot water. The self-catering suite was clean, homely and had everything we needed. The owners were friendly and helpful. Brown Jug Guest House is well placed for walking to the mall, restaurants and cliff tops. For the price, I can highly recommend it.

It felt like a home away from home, with lovely dogs dropping by now and then. The hosts are incredibly friendly, and the place is really close to the mall and beachfront. Awesome stay.

There’s a lovely mountain walk just across the road, and the neighbourhood is nice and quiet. Shops, the market, restaurants and the beach are all within walking distance. The hosts are super friendly and add thoughtful little touches that make a difference. A perfect couples getaway.

The guest houses are spacious, beautiful and always clean, with lovely scenery around them. It’s self-catering, though the owners are available if you need help, and the friendly pets make this a great place for animal lovers. There’s a pool for days when you don’t fancy the beach. Both the beach and town are about a 5-10 minute walk away. I came here often with my family when I was younger.

Louise gave us some great restaurant suggestions, and we’d definitely return. We stayed just one night, but had time to relax and swim in the pool. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the hosts were amazing.
