The food might have been my favorite part. I couldn’t stop eating, and every person on staff was kind, caring, and made us feel special. We stayed at both river lodge and Billy lodge, and honestly can’t pick a favorite because they were both stunning. We saw the Big 5 and plenty more. The guides and trackers worked hard to teach us about everything and help us get the most out of the safari. We also met the owner, who took time to host a wine tasting in his cellar. Such an amazing experience. Elzuwini means paradise, and it really felt that way. I’d recommend Elzuwini to anyone. Shout-outs to Glory, Sue, Pieter, Shadow, Franz, Conrade, and everyone else we met. Thank you for making this the best experience in the world.

The bush guides were terrific, both for spotting wildlife and explaining more about the region. Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable, and keen to take care of what we needed. Ezulwini River Lodge is a very welcoming place, and a fantastic choice for a Kruger National Park experience. 10/10, I’d recommend it.

The wildlife sightings were incredible. We saw elephants, lions, leopards, African wild dogs, and lots more, and got close enough to really take it all in. Hector, our guide, and Richard, our tracker, were especially good at finding animals. My husband and I spent three days at the river lodge and three at Billy’s lodge for our honeymoon. It was the best trip we’ve ever had. The rooms were beautiful, the staff were amazing, and the food was out of this world. A life changing stay, and I can’t imagine going anywhere else.

Our morning and afternoon drives were full of off-roading, adventure, and wonderful animal sightings. The lodge and grounds are gorgeous and so well kept, and our room was incredibly spacious. We loved the food, the service, and the thoughtful personal touches Craig, Ang, Sue, and the rest of the team brought to our stay. My husband, friends, and I had an amazing time here. I’d highly recommend this luxury lodge for a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Africa, and hope to return.

The daily sundowner stops were a favorite, and every drive was exciting. We saw the Big 5 along with countless other animals. The food was exquisite, and the staff made us feel welcome throughout. We came to Ezulwini River Lodge for our honeymoon in November 2021, and the team did everything they could to make it romantic and unforgettable. From arrival onward, everything was taken care of, so we could relax in nature and enjoy the beautiful grounds. It was the highlight of our South Africa trip. Ezulwini really does feel like paradise, and we can’t wait to visit again.
