The bushwalk was fascinating, with a guide who taught us about the flora and fauna of Kruger. We booked all our tours through the hosts, who were both incredibly sweet and helpful. The dinners they arranged were the best we had on our travels. When there hadn’t been much rain, we ate outside, and the atmosphere was wonderful. At night we could hear so many wild animals, which we loved. Huge thanks to the hosts for a memory we’ll never forget ❤️

We had such a lovely few days and would absolutely come back. The food was really good, and they even arranged a vegetarian braai for me, which was so thoughtful. Bryce and Danielle, along with the rest of the staff, were amazing hosts. The company they use for game drives was great too, and we had an incredible day with Solly. Highly recommend!

We were struck by how calm and cared for everything at Lion Tree Top felt, from the thoughtful details to the beautifully maintained spaces. Danielle and Bryce have brought so much warmth and passion to the lodge, and made us feel like family as soon as we arrived. Their new ownership is already making a positive difference, and it’s exciting to see the improvements underway. Their plans for the property look promising, and we’re eager to see how it develops. The setting is beautiful and peaceful, and the hospitality feels sincere. We can’t wait to return and see the finished upgrades. Lion Tree Top under Danielle and Bryce’s care is a real gem, and we recommend it wholeheartedly. 🌿✨

The tree houses were clean and comfortable, with nature all around. We watched plenty of animals visit the water hole from the pool and while having dinner. It’s also a handy base for a day trip to Kruger or another game reserve. Lynn, Bryan and the rest of the staff made us feel welcome throughout. We had a wonderful stay at Lion Tree and would definitely return.

We were there for one night, and had a cozy, comfortable room and a really good dinner and breakfast. The new owners are great, friendly and professional, and know a lot about animals, safari and South African culture. I’d definitely recommend it.
